At LOGICDATA, we take data protection seriously. We have compiled two Data Protection Statements, compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union 2016/679, which you can access on this page.

In this statement, we inform you about which personal data we process on this website or as part of our business relationship, for which purposes, on which legal basis and for which duration and which rights you have with respect thereto.

We use cookies in connection with Google Analytics and LinkedIn to the extent you provided us with your consent thereto in order to improve your use of our website. Brevo
To the extent you subscribe to a newsletter or request information on products via the website, this website uses Brevo to send such information.
The following information is collected by Brevo: e-mail address and name. Brevo will use such information to send the information requested by you. The information generated in the course thereof is usually transferred to a server of Brevo in Europe.

LOGICDATA shall not assume any liability for the data protection practices, policies and measures of third parties. Profiling
We do not perform any profiling or automated decision-making.
Legal basis and purposes of data processing
We process your personal data on the legal basis of performance of a contract (as part of the business relationship for initiating and settling of business transactions) and/or for the performance of precontractual measures, based upon a legal obligation as well as based upon our major legitimate interest (provision, further development and improvement of this website, preparation of use statistics, identification, prevention and tracking of attacks on the website, dealing with your requests) as well as on the basis of your consent obtained separately (e.g. marketing purposes, newsletter). You can withdraw your consent granted separately at any time via our contact details provided below.
Transfer of data
To the extent this is required to achieve the abovementioned purposes, we will forward personal data to providers of marketing tools, IT service providers, providers of other tools and software solutions, IT maintenance services and further providers of similar services used by us. We ensure adherence to the data protection law provisions when selecting our processors and have entered into agreements which ensure that personal data are processed confidentially and with due care.
Data may be shared group-wide on the basis of legitimate interest.
The collected data will not be sold or disclosed to uninvolved third parties without justification.
To the extent one of the recipients is located outside the EU, we ensure that the country of the recipient or the recipient itself guarantees an appropriate level of data protection. For this purpose, we agree upon, for example, standard contractual clauses.
Retention period
In principle, we store your personal data for the duration of existing contractual interests, the statutory retention periods or the existence of a legitimate interest. We store personal data relating to the use of our websites for a duration of 3 months. Longer retention periods only apply if this is required to examine attacks on our website.
Photos and videos at events
LOGICDATA Software & Electronic GmbH and its authorized representatives may take photos and videos at events for various documentation purposes on the basis of legitimate interest.
The photos and videos documenting the company’s history and activities may be stored for the duration of the company’s existence.
Rights of data subjects and contact
You have a right to information about the personal data processed, rectification and erasure thereof, data portability as well as restriction of processing, unless these rights are precluded by legal or contractual provisions.

Purpose and legal basis of data collection
LOGICDATA shall process the personal data which were provided through e-Mail, telephone, or the online application tool, electronically in a recruiting software exclusively for the purpose of personnel recruitment, administration and onboarding. LOGICDATA reserves the right to compare those data with all available position-requirements, in order to offer applicants the best possible options. LOGICDATA processes the personal data of an application on the basis of the necessity to carry out pre-contractual measures (Art 6 Abs 1 lit b GDPR), as well as on the basis of a legitimate interest, to carry out an efficient application process (Art 6 Abs 1 lit f GDPR).
The data in the recruiting software is stored in Vienna at a hosting partner NextLayer (https://www.nextlayer.at) in an ISO 27001-certified data centre.
If, at the time of application, no appropriate position should be vacant, but the applicant was to come into question for a future position at LOGICDATA, then LOGICDATA shall obtain the consent of the applicant to transfer their personal data into the evidence database. However, the applicant may give his or her consent therefor at the time of application.
Duration of storage
The legal retention period for applications totals 6 months due to the Equal Treatment Act. The applicant then receives an information. The storage period can be extended to five years by the applicant with his or her consent.
Recipient
Applicant data will not be passed on to third parties or marketed by LOGICDATA. Only LOGICDATA employees who are responsible for personnel selection and personnel administration have the right to view the application data.
Data will only be transferred to a third country if the applicant is applying for a position with a LOGICDATA Group company outside Austria. In these cases, the applicant data will be transferred to the company within the LOGICDATA Group to which the application relates in the third country: Zhejiang Jiecang Linear Motion Technology Co, Ltd. or LOGICDATA North America Inc, or in the EU: LOGICDATA Hungary Kft. or Metmo sro.
Rights of the persons affected
Applicants are authorised to obtain information on the processed personal data and to have this data corrected, deleted, and restricted regarding the processing of this personal data by the person responsible.
The applicants may exercise their right to correction or deletion at any time by entering the online self-service zone at the persona application profile on the application platform with their access data, where they can independently change or delete their data. Notifications (including revocation statements and update requests) should be addressed to: career.eu@logicdata.net.
The whole application profile and account can be deleted by request (mail to career.eu@logicdata.net is necessary), if the profile is older than 6 months.
The consent granted by the applicant for the transfer of their data into the evidence database can be revoked at any time. The revocation of the consent is to be carried out through an informal mail to career.eu@logicdata.net or through the self-service-zone on the application portal by the applicant.
Right of appeal
Should applicants feel that their data protection rights have been violated, they shall be authorised to appeal to the supervisory authorities:
